Hello !
I look forward to getting to know you - but in the meantime, here is a bit about 'me' !
I was born 'up North' but have lived in and around the beautiful and historic City of Bath all my life. A country girl at heart, I love nature, walks on the beach, watching films, meeting friends and colleagues for a natter over a coffee, art and interior design - and of course dogs - which are my favourite things in the world !
I have been married to my husband Cameron, for nearly 34 years (OMG)! and we have a grown up son called Elliot.
Our gorgeous little dog is called Betty and my son's dog Ellie also stays with us a lot.
I love being by the sea and we are very lucky to have a base on the West Somerset coastline at St Audries Bay, which has a stunning natural waterfall on the beach.
Dogs are a massive part of our lives. Before training to become a Celebrant, I ran a Doggy Day Care business for 11 years from our home which was fun but chaotic with lots of muddy paw prints to deal with every day !
Cameron is a qualified Dog Trainer & Behaviourist and runs our 'Tail-or" made Dog Chaperone Service, which might be of interest if you have a 4 legged member of the family you wish to be at your side, for the 'I Do's' x
I am 'down to earth' with a bubbly sense of humour and am very creative. My role as a Celebrant gives me a wonderful creative writing outlet (I love to tell your love story), but I also love to paint and try my hand at various crafts including willow sculptures and pottery.
I've had a varied career, from Recruitment and HR to Fundraising - and having a Project Management background, I'm extremely organised and there’s nothing I can’t turn into a spreadsheet !! but becoming a Celebrant has been THE BEST career change of my life.
So - I'm a relaxed Wedding Celebrant, totally in-love with love, who just can't believe that what I do is an actual career - because to me, it's just the most wonderful job in the world !!!

DOGS
Definitely my No 1 !
I ran a Doggy Day Care business at my home for 11 years. Abit like childminding but with more fur & mud. I also have my own dogs.
Anything creative …
I love to paint but just love anything crafty and creative. Cutting up bits of wood to make something useful, or weaving a new basket for a plant.
Ooh - Plants !
Sometimes our house looks like Kew Gardens - but I love greenery and anything natural.
Churches
I’m not religious but I love Churches. English Country churches, full of history. I love their architecture, quaintness and uniqueness. I used to take my late Father out ‘churching’ - we’d visit 3 or 4, taking photos. My friends all know that if we’re driving through a village and we see a church - we have to stop !!!!
Chatting !
My Nana and my Mum “could talk to a lamp-post” (what an odd saying) and I’ve definitely inherited that trait !
Films & Box Sets
I don’t watch much terrestrial tv, but I do love films and Box Sets and am obsessed with the series Yellowstone atm - I'm on my 2nd watch. I'm also a huge 'Friends' fan and I think I know the script !
Organising Things
I’m a “potterer” - I can spend hours organising and sorting things. I like ‘order’. I have 'a thing' about boxes and storage and am definitely a Virgo !
